THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE 2016 EVERGREEN INVITATIONAL!
September 10, 2016 marked the sixth Evergreen Invitational, an equestrian Grand Prix show jumping event that serves as one of the premier fundraising events for Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Founded by MK Pritzker and hosted in partnership with The Woman’s Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the Evergreen Invitational has raised $6 million to date for historically underfunded programs and research for women’s health services throughout the Chicago area.
The event was a huge success, raising more than $1.4 million and drawing 600 guests in support of Northwestern Medicine! See the 2016 competition results and learn more in our post-event press release.
Widely acknowledged as one of the most exciting events of the Olympic Games, Grand Prix show jumping is popular throughout Europe and quickly gaining momentum in the United States. As such, the Evergreen Invitational not only is helping underserved populations in the local community, but also is raising awareness for this world-class sport in Chicago.
In 2010, MK Pritzker and The Woman’s Board joined together to host the Evergreen Invitational, combining a strong legacy of compassionate care with a fresh fundraising concept. Since its inception, funds raised by the Evergreen Invitational have been granted to support 63 projects and programs bringing new, innovative healthcare ideas to Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, totaling $6 million.
